Users search a repository for assets yet often don’t see the Rights information to know if an asset can be reused. Having a flexible Rights management method with Rights details directly associated with the assets is key to preventing misuse.
In this session, we’ll hear from Kathleen Cameron, DAM Program Lead, Marketing Operations at Google on how Rights can be complex and how a single asset may have multiple Rights agreements. Kathleen will highlight how users should be able to view summary Rights information to determine if an asset is available for their desired use.
Kathleen will walk through what happens in cases with complex Rights and by having a gated download process with a download approval process creates extra insurance and cost savings from Rights violations.
