The DAM Capability Model

22 June, 15:50 PM BST

You have the choice of two sessions:

Session 2: The DAM Capability Model

This practical and detailed session introduces the general concept of a DAM Capability Model (DCM) and how this core benchmarking tool can work effectively for you and your organisation. A DCM will help ongoing monitoring, DAM efficacy and best practice.

Join industry leader, David Lipsey, who’ll show how the DCM is designed to become the core ‘backbone’ of mapping where your DAM sits in your organisation today. The DCM uses concrete and objective measurements to ascertain:

  • How effectively your DAM is working
  • How to help determine ‘what’s next’ for your DAM whether that’s relating to:
    • budgets
    • technology upgrades
    • the decision processes – the who, what and why – and anything in-between

This detailed, interactive session will provide you with the chance to ask questions throughout. David will use an Action Planning exercise to highlight the importance of setting goals, identifying the people and processes involved including the decision makers who form part of the ‘the next step’ in the DCM. You’ll learn how this proven tool can help create and enable DAM – not just now but well into the future.

HS DAM events provide me with the opportunity to broaden my horizons and think beyond to an "Omnichannel" DAM world that connects all the dots; video, image, text and more.
