Jane Lees

Jane Lees is an Executive Director of CBRE Hotels and Head of the Hotel Valuation team for the EMEA region. Specialising in Hotel Valuations, Jane offers over 20 years of extensive experience in the corporate real estate business. Prior to joining CBRE Hotels Jane led the healthcare valuation team at Colliers International. Jane has spent time working in Hong Kong within the valuation team at Jones Lang LaSalle. She undertook valuations in Hong Kong, China and the Philippines, primarily dealing with large mixed-use developments incorporating hotels, retail, offices and residential. In her current role, Jane has led and been involved with a number of high profile single asset and portfolio valuations including the Merlin, ADIA, Constellation (French) and AINA portfolios. Such projects require extensive market and hotel knowledge which comes from Jane’s wide reaching understanding of the industry. Jane attained a BSc (Hons) degree at South Bank University in Estate Management and is a RICS registered valuer.

Philip Camble

Philip has gained extensive experience as both an operator and a professional adviser, and began his hotel career at Trusthouse Forte, where he held senior operational roles in hotels in London and was seconded to a hotel in Morocco. Professional positions have included Managing Consultant at PKF Hotels London in the 1990's, Senior Manager at KPMG and a Partner of Cushman & Wakefield LLP in London. Philip has also run his own consultancy practice in Cyprus, working extensively in Eastern Europe and the Middle East. During his rich and varied career, Philip was also a founding director of a European hotel operator specialising in small luxury hotels. In 2011, Philip and his fellow partners established Whitebridge Hospitality Limited. During his career, Philip has worked with a wide variety of international operators, multinational institutions, governments, companies, developers, owners and wealthy individuals around the world. 

Elizabeth Chen

As Senior Associate, Acquisitions & Development at PPHE Hotel Group, Elizabeth is involved in driving the expansion of the Group’s portfolio from identifying to securing opportunistic and value-add investments as well as lease and management contract opportunities across Europe and in New York.  Prior to joining PPHE, she held various roles in hospitality, most recently at JLL Hotels & Hospitality and Marriott International.  Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in International Hospitality Management from Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne.

Ian Elliott

Ian has over 20-years post qualification experience and has specialised in the hotel sector for the last 17-years, having previously focussed on development and commercial valuation which enables him to have a more holistic understanding of how trading properties compare to the mainstream sectors. Ian has advised on various portfolio and major single asset hotels, serviced apartments, hostels and members clubs throughout the UK and Europe. Whilst Ian’s main focus is now on the hotel sector his previous experience also includes general leisure, garden centres and schools.  In the last year Ian and his team valued and advised on over £10billion of hospitality assets.

Julian Kemp

Julian Kemp rejoined CBRE Hotels’ Consultancy Services team in 2014, bringing over 20 years experience within the hotel industry. Under his leadership the CBRE Hotel’s Advisory Services function, has over recent years, work and advised on hospitality assets with a value in excess of €37.7 billion. He has extensive national and international experience and an in-depth understanding of financial, commercial and operational functions of hotels at all levels of the market. Prior to rejoining CBRE Hotels, Julian held positions with a leading hotel real estate advisory firm (Director), PKF (Managing Consultant), InterContinental Hotels Group (Corporate Finance Analyst/Asset Manager), TRI Hospitality Consulting (Managing Consultant), and The Lanesborough (Trainee Management). His previous roles have enabled Julian to gain extensive experience in asset management, single asset and portfolio valuations, buy-side advice, commercial due diligence, transactions/operator selection, market demand studies with financial projections and strategic reviews. Julian has an MBA from the University of Bath as well as a BSc (Hons) Hotel and Catering Management from the University of North London.

Shaun Roy

Shaun is in the Capital Markets Team at Knight Frank and has been involved in the transaction of in excess of £4bn of commercial real estate.  Shaun runs the Specialist Property Investment team and works closely with the various specialist advisory teams (students, hotels, healthcare and automotive).  Key areas of specialism include development funding and sale and leaseback transactions.

 

Julia Wyss

Julia is an Associate Director within the EMEA Hotels Development team in London and is focused on development sales and advisory as well as strategic operator selection mandates across the EMEA region. Since joining CBRE in 2015, Julia has sold development sites, newly built hotels as well as developments under forward funding/sale structures. Her experience also covers operator selections ranging from the fixed income space to management and franchise agreement negotiations. Julia graduated with honours from the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (Hons), specialising in real estate, market and corporate finance. Prior to and during her studies she worked in various hospitality related positions in the USA and Switzerland, employing her German and French language skills.
