Stephen is an engaging speaker who has been featured at many technology and graphic arts industry conferences around the world and is a visionary leader able to connect technology enablers to real business challenges a user-friendly way. As such, Stephen and his team manage roadmaps for Esko Packaging and Color – now incorporating brands including Pantone, X-Rite, WebCenter and Blue. His expertise generally centers around strategy and value discussions with Global CPG marketing teams, e-commerce acceleration techniques and understanding the MarTech ecosystem for consumer and life-science product marketing and execution.

Stephen comes to Esko via the 2018 acquisition of Blue Software LLC. Stephen founded Blue Software in 1997 and worked as CTO for Schawk Inc. from 2008 to 2015. He also served multiple terms as Chairman of The Intelligent Packaging Consortium (IPC) which created XML standards for the packaging supply chain. He has served on the Board of Directors of IdeaAlliance, and several other graphics and charitable organizations. He earned his Bachelor’s degree at Northwestern University. Stephen lives in Elgin, IL with his wife Lisa.
