How to Manage your Video Assets from Production to Distribution

April 14, 11:20 AM

Whether it be advertising, brand engagement on social platforms, training, do-it-yourself or internal corporate messages, we have all seen the studies that show video truly wins the crown for engagement.

Of course, with the crown comes:

  • An order of magnitude increase in complexity of managing the assets
  • A need to produce more of the assets, ever faster, at higher quality, in multiple formats and versions for an ever increasing number of outlets. All with suitable metadata
  • The need to store, curate, archive and reuse

And metadata must keep up and match every requirement.

In this Masterclass, we will present lightning round presentations from enterprise organizations engaged in the "Rise of the Corporate Studio" and the adventure that is production, management, and distribution of video assets. We will explore the challenges that come with time-based media vs images and the pitfalls to avoid along the way.

After the presentations, we will hold table breakout sessions where participants may join short workshops to discuss and brainstorm potential solutions to the challenges we face.

A knowledgeable and engaging group from the DAM / MAM Community has been assembled to facilitate lively discussions. We look forward to your involvement.

Before attending a HS DAM event, I never knew the true impact or importance of DAM. For the first time it felt like I wasn't alone, but part of something so much greater. I left inspired and motivated to take what I had learned and apply it our DAM system. I look forward to the event every year!

The Henry Stewart DAM NY conference did not disappoint. The breadth of topics and experiences covered were amazing.  I could have used three of me to cover all the sessions I was interested in attending!
