Penny Pijnenburg

Senior Media Producer

Penny Pijnenburg has worked as a producer all her life. She started in television from a very young age and has been working in the advertising world for more than 20 years.

She worked on both agency and client side, including Nike and Adidas, across various advertising genres such as moving image and photography & art buying. As a sports Brand Producer, she became very specialised in producing large-scale Football (soccer) campaigns with the world’s biggest football players and Clubs. This included campaign content for the past 5 Football World Cups. By doing this she also became very specialized in the Business Affairs aspects of developing football marketing tools. She uses her experience and knowledge regularly to train other producers.

In addition to her illustrious career, Penny is always looking to learn new things. Twice during her production career, she pursued a trimester of studying at a university, resulting in obtaining two Master Law School certificates. The most recent one was in the spring of 2023: Intellectual Property in the Information Society.

This last course included a section on AI & IP rights. This newfound knowledge prompted her to delve deeper into this complex topic, ultimately inspiring her to create a presentation to educate industry professionals. She continues to update the presentation with new developments around AI.

Recently Penny started working as a freelance Business Affairs Producer and consultant using both her (Football) advertising experience and AI & IP knowledge to kick-start her new business.
