A Round-Up of the Year's Trends in Commercial Property

Commercial property markets enjoyed a strong first half in 2022, but activity across both occupier and investment markets slowed in the first quarter of the second half. Then there was the mini budget in September and the reversal in October. Economic and political uncertainty, rising interest rates, high debt servicing costs, and a surge in building costs have all added to investors’ list of worries and complicated decision-making.

In this session we review 2022 capital market and occupier trends and attempt to provide insight into what 2023 may have in store for commercial property.
