Within the Oxford Leisure and Trade Related Property team, Amanda is responsible for undertaking Red Book valuations and appraisals for all aspects of Leisure and trading business within the UK and abroad.
Amanda undertakes valuations and strategic advice for secured lending, accounts, estate strategy, taxation and a variety of other purposes. The team specialises in a wide range of property including sports venues, golf courses, holiday property and complexes, mobile home parks, health and fitness centres, marinas, visitor attractions, horticultural site, garden centres, crematoria and burial sites, waste management, processing and recycling facilities, waste to energy and educational establishments. Amanda has previous experience covering a variety of professional work including valuation, lease renewal, rent review, landlord and tenant, business rates appeals and development appraisals for a wide range of commercial and residential properties. She has worked with private, corporate, educational and public sector clients. Before joining Savills in 2011 she was employed by local property consultants within Oxford and prior to this at the Valuation Office Agency, where she undertook asset valuations for government departments and specialised in taxation valuations. Amanda graduated from the University of Aberystwyth with a BA (Hons) in Geography and completed a Masters degree in Real Estate at the UCE. She became a qualified member of the RICS in 2005 and obtained Fellowship of the RICS in November 2016.
