MRTPI – Principal Policy Planner

Charlotte leads on housing and culture planning policy. She has recently led the production of the Affordable Housing and Viability SPD and the Local Plan – Direction of Travel Regulation 18 consultation. Prior to working at Waltham Forest, Charlotte worked at Turley advising on policy, RPS CgMs as a planning consultant advising on a wide range of developments and London Borough of Wandsworth as a planning enforcement officer. In 2012, Charlotte co-founded Women in Planning to champion a diverse, inclusive and equitable planning profession. Charlotte is also an active member of the RTPI and a trustee for the Planning Officers Society, where she leads the NOVUS network. Charlotte has been commended in the RTPI Young Planner of the Year Award 2018, recognised as a Property Week Resi Trail Blazer 2018, shortlisted for the Alan Cherry Awards ‘Placemaking: One to Watch’ and included on The Planners Influential Women’s list in 2017 and 2018.
