Tom is an experienced planning lawyer who deals with a wide range of planning issues, both contentious and non-contentious, on behalf of developer clients – acting on a national basis for a number. Tom also has a niche practice dealing with operational agreements and consents for ports and marinas. Recent work includes negotiating a S106 agreement in respect of a mixed use development to comprise of a food store of 8,500 square feet, non-food retail units of up to 200,000 square feet and 1100 residential flats – and in doing so packaging the delivery of circa £6.5M of planning benefits in such a way so as to ensure the financial viability of the projects
