Philippa is a healthcare development and investment advisor specialising in the elderly care and senior living markets. She qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2012 undertaking a broad spectrum of work including valuation, asset management and agency. In 2016 she cut her teeth in the development world when she joined the national care developer Castleoak securing land and navigating sites through the planning process. In 2018 Philippa founded Mayfly Group which focuses on land acquisition through critical site and demographic analysis for many national and regional care home operators and developers. Her in depth knowledge of different operators’ models and the care home market led to her involvement with Rynda Healthcare, a new entrant to the specialist care funding market. In 2021 she was part of the team responsible for raising circa £200m of capital which was deployed over 14 months with a strong focus on best in class, private pay care home assets which structurally were a mix of forward fund, forward commit and standing investments. She continues to work closely with operators, developers, and funders in the sector.
