Peter Village QC “remains a go-to presence at the bar” in planning and environmental law, and associated judicial review and commercial law cases, particularly in significant residential and retail cases. His planning practice covers the full range of developments including residential, retail, airports and infrastructure projects. He played a central part in the most important planning litigation of recent years – CALA Homes – and masterminded the successful challenge to the Secretary of State’s decision to revoke Regional Strategies (CALA No 1). Peter was recognised by Chambers & Partners as ‘Planning and Environment Silk of the Year’ in 2012.
