Steven is the Chief Operating Officer at Peritus with over 20 years’ experience in banking, financial services and fund management. Prior to joining Peritus, Steven was the Head of Lending at Beaufort Capital with a focus on the provision of mezzanine finance into the development sector.

Steven started his career at Barclays Bank where he spent 9 years covering positions in corporate services and the Private Client’s business. Following Barclays, Steven spent 5 years at Santander in their Specialist Lending team. Steven joined Close Brothers in 2006 and managed their Joint Venture funding business across both residential and commercial assets classes as well as managing the group lending relationships. In addition, Steven was Fund Manager for a number of their UK and European property funds and Deputy Managing Director of the Property Fund Management division of Close. Following the sale of the Close business to Alpha Real Capital in February 2011, Steven joined Alpha as a Partner and Head of Lending for their Property Lending Business and managed a number of UK and European Property Funds.
