Louise is Head of UK Public Sector at CBRE. She is responsible for leading our Public Sector business which includes our relationships with all Government Departments and Government Agencies. CBRE’s UK Public Sector business includes; Infrastructure, Placemaking, Housing, Education, Health, Strategic Development and Public/Private Partnerships.
Prior to joining CBRE in 2021, Louise had a 20 year career within National, Regional and Local Government. She held senior roles at Manchester City Council, West Midlands Combined Authority and Homes England. Louise is a Chartered Surveyor and a Landscape Architect and her expertise is focused on major regeneration projects, brokering partnerships between multiple organizations to deliver transformational projects, great placemaking and progressive ESG outcomes.
At Manchester City Council Louise was Strategic Director for Growth & Development, responsible for the City’s property, planning, economic growth and inward investment teams. At Homes England she was Director of Strategy and Engagement and a member of the team that established the Government’s housing and regeneration agency in 2018. Whilst at Homes England, Louise was seconded to West Midland Combined Authority to lead on design and development initiatives. Including launching the West Midlands Design Charter with Mayor Andy Street in 2020, aimed at raising the quality and sustainability of the built environment across the West Midlands region.
Louise is a member of the National Infrastructure Commission’s Design Group and an Ambassador for Harvard University, Design Council and the Landscape Institute. She’s a former member of the Planning Committee for London Legacy Development Corporation and was a founding Director of Ebbsfleet Development Corporation, delivering a new Garden City in Kent.
Louise is passionate about delivering economic growth across the UK’s City Regions. She achieves this by bringing CBRE’s market and professional expertise, alongside public and private sector clients to help them deliver their ambitions in the places they own and invest in.
