Steven is a Senior Surveyor in the London Residential Valuation team, focussing on prime Central London and commuter belt regions, with responsibility for providing you with high-quality single asset and portfolio valuations for loan security, IHT, CGT, ATED and matrimonial purposes.

He works closely with a range of institutional lenders to deliver high-quality advice and bespoke services. This includes taking clients through the entire scope of an instruction, from fully understanding requirements, to providing regular contact throughout the valuation process, and delivering timely, accurate and insightful reports.

Steven has undertaken single asset valuations up to a value of £50m and portfolio valuations, including HMO assets, up to an aggregate value of £20m. In order to keep step with advancements in technology and data capture in the residential market and wider industry, he works as part of the team developing in-house systems and processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy in securing, analysing, and reporting the best available data from mapping and environmental factors to comparable evidence. This includes identifying and liaising with data providers.

Over recent years, the residential market has been impacted by global and domestic factors including Brexit, changes in SDLT policy, tighter mortgage regulation, the COVID-19 pandemic, and geopolitical unrest. Steven keeps abreast of industry news and changes to ensure accurate and timely advice and he is responsible for in-team residential market research and the residential market commentary for reporting purposes.
