Kathryn Gronsbell

Kathryn Gronsbell is a New York-based enterprise digital asset management and archival preservation specialist focused on practical and sustainable approaches to data and object lifecycle management. With a background in audiovisual archiving and digital preservation, she focuses on collaboration as a core aspect of stewardship. Since 2015, Kathryn has been responsible for the strategic, administrative, and technical ownership of Carnegie Hall’s Digital Collections. As the Digital Collections Manager in the Carnegie Hall Rose Archives, she ensures current and historic material is actively preserved for future generations and made accessible to internal stakeholders and the public via collections.carnegiehall.org. She holds a M.A. from the Moving Image Archiving and Preservation (MIAP) program at New York University, and a B.A. in Film and Media Arts from Temple University.
