Zoe Friedlander

Sr. Manager, Collections and Digital Asset Management Technology

Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences

Zoe Friedlander manages projects and technology for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Digital Management Services platform, which includes collections management, digital asset management, and media asset managmement systems. She has worked extensively with DAM and collections management systems at the Margaret Herrick Library and with the Academy's Film Archive and upcoming museum, including working on multiple data migrations. She has 15 years of experience working with digital images, video, and audio, and significant experience with digital preservation of cultural assets.  She holds a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from UCLA.
