Ron Hockley has served in the Records and Information Management Department at LP since it launched in 1998. As Analyst, Administrator and Manager, he has traveled to dozens of manufacturing sites and corporate offices across North America to work with LP Business Units, Legal and IT Departments to bring millions of paper records and electronic items under management. His vision is to transform LP’s Content Management processes into a digital, automated & unified information ecosystem that drives LP to gain insights, improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
In addition to his training as a Certified Records Manager, Ron has a M.A. degree in Cross Cultural Studies. In his spare time, he has engaged with numerous nonprofit organizations, helping to spearhead community development programs in Haiti, India, Nicaragua and the Philippines.
Ron lives in Portland, Oregon with his family. He is an avid distance runner, backpacker & trail runner and enjoys all things outdoors.
