Building the BLM Archive

3 November, 11:45 AM

Black Cultural Archives grew from the necessity for a space where members of the community, especially young people, could come and find positive representations of themselves in history and culture.

In this presentation, Archives Supervisor Rhoda Boateng explores the importance of documenting authentically the historic Black Lives Matter movement. Specifically, she will discuss their new digital call out, and how the donated material will be used to educate, commemorate, and drive change.
