DAM Europe 2020

Kyran Weir is the Global DAM Coordinator for Nestlé. He has had a broad career history, spanning across the fields of graphic design, project management and IT systems. Most recently, he has been managing the global deployment of a Digital Asset Management system for the world’s largest food and beverage company.

Named ‘Content Hub’ by Nestlé, this DAM system is accessed daily by thousands of employees and partners across global markets. His responsibilities span overseeing all developments of the system, UX improvements, working with key stakeholders to maintain and update the taxonomy, working with legal team to improve asset usage rights management, on-boarding new users, and helping Nestlé gain greater value from the system. Prior to joining Nestlé in 2013, he worked for the Ministry of Defence.

Outside of Nestle, Kyran enjoys the outdoor lifestyle of Switzerland where he can ski and hike as much as possible. He continues to be a passionate graphic designer, where he volunteers his skills to local independent York businesses and start-ups. Doting father to two fat cats with a human child on the way.
