Wouter joined global development organisation Oxfam 7 years ago as head of communications for the Belgian office. The stories, photos and videos of the people Oxfam works with, are key in raising support for the organisation’s programs. Wouter’s insight on which content works best to engage audiences across a variety of online and offline channels, led him to assume the role of Content Manager at Oxfam’s global secretariat in early 2017. His daily contribution to the fight against poverty consists of bringing coherence and cohesion to Oxfam’s content operations across 20 affiliate organisations, working together in over 90 countries. Plans to replace a myriad of local DAM systems with a single global source of truth, are no small part of that ambition.
