Mark Norris

Head of UX Programs and Operations

Mark Norris is the Head of UX Programs and Operations for Google Play. With over 15 years of experience, he has a proven track record of leading design operations teams at major companies like NBC Universal, R/GA, and Google.

While at NBC Universal, Mark played a key role in developing digital strategies for cable properties like Syfy and Bravo, focusing on gaming, video, and social experiences. He then joined R/GA, spearheading the Nike account, redesigning NIKE.com, and seamlessly blending digital experiences with physical retail. Mark's global impact extended to Sydney, Australia, where he helped establish the agency's first regional office.

Since 2018, Mark has been with Google, initially scaling UX for critical internal business applications. In 2021, he transitioned to Google Play, where he now leads a design ops team dedicated to enhancing the Play experience for Android users.

Mark holds a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Texas at Austin and currently resides on Long Island with his wife and two teenagers.
