DAM New York 2019

The Art and Practice of Managing Digital Media

Katie Dow

Marketing Technologies, Business Systems Analyst

The Coca-Cola Company

Katie Dow is an MBA graduate of Kennesaw State University in Georgia and has been working at The Coca-Cola Company in the Digital Asset Management space for nine years. As part of the Global IT function, her time at Coca-Cola has been split between performing as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, and most recently the “Metadata Lady” for DMeX (Coca-Cola’s global DAM system). As the Metadata Steward for DMeX, Katie is responsible for defining and maintaining DMeX’s metadata strategy, mapping metadata from legacy systems/integration points to DMeX’s schema, and consulting/sharing best practices with other teams at Coca-Cola who are undergoing their own metadata optimization efforts. Outside of work, Katie loves to spend time with her friends, family, and her two furry sons (Steven and Frankie).

The Henry Stewart DAM NY conference did not disappoint. The breadth of topics and experiences covered were amazing.  I could have used three of me to cover all the sessions I was interested in attending!
