In 2011, Paramount Pictures embarked on an ambitious preservation program. Hundreds of feature films have been preserved. These titles, long ignored due to lack of availability, are now making their way to audiences and demonstrating their value. 

This presentation walks through a journey that used the digital supply chain to make available a large slice of film history. It covers: 

• Preservation as part of the digital distribution infrastructure
• Examples of different preservation projects and the lessons learned
• The key role played by digital asset management
