MAM: Consolidation, Simplification and Unification
A MAM is an ecosystem of services that allows us to create media in a collaborative, safe, and secure environment. Without constant vigilance a MAM can turn into an unwieldy Hydra, costing teams significant time and budget.
Legacy systems are focused on on-prem workflows and tend to exclude remote workers and freelancers. Moving to SaaS platforms helps with the administrative burden of on-prem hardware and software but it brings with it complications that are not immediately obvious and certainly not trivial. The need to surmount technology hurdles is only part of the challenge when stakeholders must accommodate myriad workflows.
