Travis Wurges

Video Producer

The Philadelphia Orchestra

As the Video Producer for The Philadelphia Orchestra, Travis produces a constant stream of content— 200TB and counting since 2021—including full-length concert videos, musician and guest artist profiles, and a community-centric video series highlighting Philadelphia organizations and businesses that align with the Orchestra’s mission, vision, and values. Managing all aspects of production from location scouting and scheduling to shooting, editing, and delivery, his intuitive production skills, natural curiosity, and passion for creative storytelling have served to the elevate the Orchestra’s digital offerings.

Travis’s love for video production began when he channeled Tom Brokaw for a middle school “video book report” assignment, complete with theme music and cutaway shots. A self-proclaimed video geek from the beginning, he built his career executing productions of all size from conception through completion, both collaboratively and independently, for organizations like The Yale School of Music, the College Board, South by Southwest, USA Network, and many more.

What others say

Henry Stewart events are integral to the learning process as I finish my Master's in Library and Information Science. The added bonus of remote access allows those of us who cannot attend in person to take advantage of the industry world leaders HS events always bring. Thank you!

I always learn so much at HS DAM events! Just like DAM is a process not a project, so is keeping current with the trends, updates, and vendors. HS makes me feel like I am plugged in.

HS DAM events provide the opportunity to learn what works and doesn't, what I should be focusing on in the future, and introduce areas I may have not thought to consider in how we're currently using our DAM and where we should be going.
