Automation, Machine Learning and AI … Is Your DAM DAMN Ready?

22 February, 11:40 AM

In this panel, moderated by Andrew Lomas, Co-Founder and Director, Creative Folks IT we’ll discuss the increasing role played by machine learning and AI in DAM. It’s not straightforward and comes with challenges, not least because there is an assumption that by involving automation at the level of machine learning and AI, then all the problems disappear! That’s not the case … there is an education process working behind the scenes to implement AI across the enterprise.

Hear from Damien Calvert, IT Manager, The Australian Ballet, Conrad Henson, Sr. Product Marketing Manager, OpenText and Chris Lang, DAM Librarian, UNSW Sydney on evaluating the role of automation, machine learning and AI in their organisations. The panel will debate:

  • Does machine learning fix all DAM challenges?
  • How does AI tag keywords?
  • What is the cost saving when taking the leap into machine learning?
  • Can automation make a big difference to workflows?

What others say

It is refreshing to see that the issues Digital Asset Managers face around the world are indeed universal. Events such as these provide an avenue for DAM professionals to discuss challenges and share solutions. By remaining platform agnostic in these sessions, Henry Stewart provides a place for safe and honest discussions.

HS DAM events are definitely a great learning opportunity about DAMs and other related subjects. Each lecture focuses on different topics and ways of integrating DAMs to different fields. Looking forward to other events such as these.

The DAM Asia-Pacific conference by HS Events exceeded my expectations. The presenters were very generous and informative and the space was welcoming and inclusive for all levels of DAMS practitioner. Thank you again.
