Justyna currently serves as the Head of Digital Imaging at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. where she provides leadership to four incredible teams specializing in DAMS, Copyright, Photography, and 3D Imaging.
Prior to serving at the NGA, Justyna served as the Head of Imaging at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where she was part of a cross departmental team responsible for selecting and implementing the first museum wide DAMS system in 2021. Justyna brings to the museum field her 20 years of experience in academia. She has dedicated her academic and museum career to nurturing talent, implementing innovative digital programs, advancing user centered design and opening doors to cross disciplinary collaboration. She is passionate about cultural heritage and is eager to leverage her current role in order to share knowledge, innovate and support smaller museums.
Justyna holds an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art and has been an actively exhibiting artist since 1994.
