Making Creative Work Better

Rebecca McAlear

Sr. Director, Brand Management & Creative Operations

Rebecca McAlear is an advertising and branding innovator with more than 20 years of experience managing global, multi-channel creative campaigns at companies including Urban Outfitters, Inc., Ralph Lauren, and Ogilvy. Highly passionate, creative, and driven, Rebecca excels at promoting the industry prowess of top national brands; building and reinforcing corporate reputations; inspiring and motivating target audiences through compelling marketing materials; and, ultimately, driving sales growth.

Since 2016 as Senior Director of Creative Operations at Anthropologie, Rebecca has been at the helm of high-impact marketing campaigns across print, digital, and social channels.  Her project leadership has also been integral to the success of the company’s e-commerce expansion to platforms such as T-Mall and Localise, extending the U.S. found and operated brand into international markets.

As Senior Director of Global Advertising and Brand Management at Ralph Lauren from 2011 to 2016, Rebecca managed concept-to-launch branding campaigns for leading products, including Polo Men, Women, and Kids lines. And from 2008 to 2011, in account management roles for both Ogilvy and Bravo TV, she managed television and print advertising for both Avon and Bravo TV.

A key element of Rebecca’s success lies in her talent for collaborating with multiple cross-functional business teams to achieve a shared end goal, influencing chief decision makers on strategy, and aligning advertising and marketing materials with brand vision and mission to ensure uniformity of message. Rebecca’s professional achievements are reinforced by a solid education that includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration / Marketing from Villanova University as well as training in Digital Marketing (New York University) and Brand Marketing Communication (Fashion Institute of Technology).
