Rewiring the Creative Process for Inclusion
Thursday November 16, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Did you know that in 2022, over half of the Cannes Lion Award winners, across all categories, had diversity, equity, and inclusion at the heart of their work? It’s clear that inclusion is not just a moral imperative, but also a strategic advantage in the creative industry.

To start, we have to recognize our own biases so we can begin to rewire our creative process and tell fresh, compelling stories that resonate with all our audiences.

Join us for a dynamic DEI workshop that focuses on understanding the creative process and
incorporating inclusion-first thinking. Through interactive discussions, we will explore how to rewire the creative process to produce authentic, inclusive content that deeply resonates with our audiences.

We will dive into the world of bias and privilege, examining how they manifest in stereotypes. We’ll then examine examples of both problematic and positive work and deconstruct where bias may have entered the creative process.

Finally, we’ll unpack the briefing process for inclusion and identify strategies for creating an inclusive environment where everyone’s voice is heard. Through this interactive workshop, you’ll gain valuable insights into how to create work that authentically reflects our diverse society and connects with audiences in a meaningful way.

Join us and learn how to incorporate inclusive practices into your creative process.
