HEMA

Valerie is the Manager Content Operations at HEMA. Valerie has been working at HEMA since 2006 with and is responsible for many great marketing publications. Working over 15 years as a professional in creative operations she established herself as a hands-on manager with great passion for the HEMA brand and an exceptional eye for the employees, their individual growth, and their welfare. Valerie has been the driving force into establishing the HEMA Studio: an in-house content production studio for all HEMA products and campaigns. Her aim is to continuously improve the way of working in marketing at HEMA by searching for process optimizations, implementing technology and by sharing her love for creative operations.

HEMA is a Dutch chain of department stores which opened its first store in Amsterdam on 4th November 1926. The chain has internationally expanded to 8 countries around the world. The basic idea behind every HEMA product is to make daily life better, easier, and more fun. Great quality and design should be available to everyone at a great price. The products are optimistic and playful, but also clean and soothing, smart, and well-made. Design is form, but it can also be a feature of the product, the choice of a material or the ease of use, as well as a great price of course. This is the unique and recognizable HEMA signature.
