Tutorial Leaders

David Lipsey is a well-known industry founder and contributor to DAM projects. He has 25 years of experience in the diversified media and entertainment sectors, including newspapers, trade, education and technical publishing, magazines, commercial printing, syndication services, cable, broadcast and studio work. He is widely known as an innovative thought leader and speaker on contemporary content issues.

Graham Allan has spent over 20 years in digital media & entertainment technology, leading DAM, MAM, metadata, rights & content supply chain transformations for major film, television, online media, theme parks, publishing & content aggregation organizations in the US & Europe.  15 of those years were spent driving DAM, MAM & infrastructure software initiatives for Disney's animation, film and television divisions, & directing the company’s enterprise integrated MAM strategy.  Subsequent consulting roles have extended that leadership across other motion picture, TV and media companies, and as a thought leader, author and speaker on many aspects of today’s media and content supply chain challenges.  As EVP, Operations & Consulting at KlarisIP, he leads consulting & digital transformation initiatives across the intellectual property spectrum.

John Horodyski is a Partner with Optimity Advisors with executive management strategy experience in Information Management including Digital Asset Management (DAM), Metadata and Taxonomy design, Content Management, Information Governance, Rights Management, and Brand strategy. John has provided strategic direction and consulting for a variety of Fortune 100 and 500 clients from Consumer Packaging Goods, to Media & Entertainment, and the Pharmaceutical industry. John is also an Adjunct Faculty at San Jose State University where he teaches a graduate course in Digital Asset Management. In addition to regular training & public speaking on digital media and metadata, John is a Board Member / Metadata Editor of the Journal Of Digital Media Management, and is a monthly DAM contributor to CMS Wire. John recently published in May 2016 his book, “Inform, Transform, Outperform: Digital Content Strategies to Optimize Your Business for Growth.” 

Jarrod Gingras is Real Story Group's Managing Director and Analyst covering Digital Workplace and Marketing technology across the enterprise information landscape including digital asset management and web content management.Jarrod is a more than 15 year veteran of the content technology industry, starting his career as a web developer and information architect. Today, he specializes in helping enterprises make smart technology decisions when it comes to their technology strategies and solution selections. He has advised clients such as Abbott Laboratories, McKesson, Ernst & Young, Cedars-Sinai, Univision, Walt Disney, AstraZeneca, Penn Medicine, The Mayo Clinic, Oppenheimer Funds, Harvard Business School, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, on their enterprise information challenges.
